With the MEDIA PRESENCE ENVIRONMENT – MPE a room has been developed that requires only five choices: Decide on the table form, the number of seats, color and finish of the surface veneer and select your video conferencing codec for the integrated MEDIA PRESENCE SYSTEM.

The MEDIA PRESENCE ENVIRONMENT can be adapted to your needs and your existing conference rooms. After only a few questions about the number and design of the chairs, the table form and veneer, it provides the right answer for all those who have high expectations for their performance.

The central media control provides intuitive operation of all equipment and room components. This is guaranteed either by 9 “touch panel or an iPad, which accesses via WLAN to all components. Only a few steps needed to operate the video conferencing system, turn signals on individual monitors and control the lighting conditions based on scenarios. An individual design with respect to color and logo enables optimal adaptation of the media control to your corporate design.

The design of the connector panel on the table is the same material as the table top and -when not in use – merges almost invisible with the surface. The illuminated glass panels of the open connector panel always contain all the necessary connections at every seat.

In the background a signal matrix allows the distribution of the respective input images on your monitor. Audio input signals can be easily switched to the room sounding or to the video conference from every seat. The flexible system allows any individual decision, on which display a presentation is shown and whether it is to be transmitted in the video conference.

MEDIA PRESENCE ENVIRONMENT creates a perfect sound experience: a highly effective acoustic insulation reduces annoying reververation noises and ensures the best possible voice quality. The reduction of the reverberation time provides an excellent atmosphere for talks in conferences, in which several people work together – whether face-to-face or by video. And although it allows a quality that gives focus and relaxed work.

Overview - A modular telepresence group system, accommodating up to 6 participants per room creating a virtual table for 12 participants when connected to another CTS 3000. The system features ultra high definition 1080p video delivered to three 65″ plasma screens. Multi-channel CD-quality spatial audio comes from the direction of the remote participant that is speaking. This system will fit into an existing space with a minimum amount of make-ready and features an integrated table, lighting, microphone, and camera all optimized for the environment. Calls can be scheduled using groupware applications such as MS Outlook and Lotus Notes and then launched with the push of a button or launched ad-hoc by dialing another room’s phone number from a handset in the room.
